There is another review for Projekt Revolution by
Charlotte. Here is an excerpt:
It was dark by this point, but the amphitheater sweltered as even more people showed up to see headliners Linkin Park, who cranked into "No More Sorrow" as it hit the stage sounding louder and clearer than previous acts. Songs like "Somewhere I Belong," the punky "Given Up," and "Paper Cut," which featured Mike Shinoda's slam poet-style raps, showed the band's diversity. Singer/screamer Chester Bennington's vocal power and emotion were amazing as he easily went from soaring belt to throat-scratching screaming with little strain. Read

Live Daily had an interview with Josh Groban, where Josh revealed why he thought to sing Linkin Park's single 'My December' in his own way. Here is an excerpt from the interview.
Live Daily: Why did you decide to do Linkin Park's "My December" live?
Josh Groban: I had heard it on KROQ, which is a rock station in L.A. They kind of play it every once in awhile during the month of December. I looked and looked and looked for it, and I realized it wasn't released. They had it as, like, a B-side on a single. I thought it was such a haunting, beautiful melody. It was one that, whether it was by them or any other group, it just had a universal appeal. I thought, "This is kind of a really interesting song. I can make my own version of it."

I really dislike Linkin Park and haven’t really listened to Jay-Z all that much; what can I say besides West Coast Boyyyy! This particular mash-up however, had me at hello. Something about the blending of the 2 genres here melds into one perfectly formed whole. I really thought when I first heard it that it would get old after a while, but it hasn’t.

According to
reports from Launch Radio Networks, Linkin Park start their fourth Projekt Revolution tour on July 25 in Seattle. The tour is going to be wrapped up in Denver on September 3.
According to the report Chester said "Projekt Revolution, we've always wanted to grow it over the years and, you know, in the beginning it was difficult because we were a fresh band, you know, we hadn't earned the respect of our peers, so to speak, so it was a little more difficult to get bands to tour with us. But this Projekt Revolution was surprisingly easy to put together. The idea was that we wanted to basically put the best touring festival of the summer together and make it a no-brainer. And I think that we've accomplished that."
This Monday, Rockline featured Mike and Phoenix. Chester was badly missed, he couldn't make it as he wasn't well. The full show can be listened to at

The theme song for the popular show 'Weeds' was originally sung by Malvina Reynolds in 1962. For every new episode, a different singer is selected to sing this song called 'Little Boxes'. Earlier famous artists like Elvis Costello, Death Cab For Cutie, the Polyphonic Spree, Englebert Humperdinck, and Joan Baez have also done the honours.

The Live Earth Concert has been reviewed by Times, Village voice and Star pulse. Read out for the them below.
Village Voice:
Whoa, Tokyo is unbelievably amped for Linkin Park! After the past two and a half hours, it's almost a shock to see a stadium-rock crowd acting like a stadium-rock crowd. I like Linkin Park's emo makeover.
TIME:
The Tokyo concert segued from the gentle folk of Japanese pop star Cocco, who tearfully sang about manatees threatened by a military base on her home island of Okinawa, to the American rap-metal group Linkin Park, who urged the crowd to "get rowdy." If Gore was being characteristically hyperbolic when he claimed the concerts could reach up to 2 billion people on the Internet — sure, and so could this story — the sheer size and spread of the events meant that for a day at least, climate change (or, the rock concerts it has prompted) dominated headlines across the world. But would the Earth have been better off if we all stayed home and did nothing, literally? "That's a fair thought," Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson told TIME before his band's Tokyo show. "It's also a cynical one." He's right. It's time to get past the obsession over carbon footprint size and offsets, over who's an eco-hypocrite and who is truly green. We need to use energy far more wisely, both individually and internationally, but with hundreds of millions in the developing world getting richer and producing more carbon every day, the threat of climate change is far, far bigger than our personal conservation habits. It will require technological change and painful political choices such as carbon taxes, gas taxes and mandatory greenhouse gas emissions caps. That means, especially for the young, the un-rock star act of voting.
Star Pulse:
Quotes from Live Earth: "I don't have any delusions of grandeur that Linkin Park is saving the world. But it's our goal to do what we can to make it possible for our kids to have a place to live, and, at the same time, hopefully clean up where we live in the process." Linkin Park bassist David 'Phoenix' Farrell. The band headlined the Tokyo leg of the Live Earth concerts.
