Mammoth press reviews Linkin Park's latest album 'Minutes to Midnight'. It states that Linkin Park has been on a four-year hiatus, finally giving us relief from rock radio inundating the airwaves with its brand of rap/rock/pop that was just too catchy to pass up. So now, there isn’t a lot of fanfare when groups like this release a new album because A: their music gets old very quickly and B: once we finally got it out of our heads, we didn’t want to go there ever again. In a recent interview for Launch Radio Network, Chester talked about his solo album ‘Dead by Sunrise’ and commented: “I was actually pretty deep into recording my other project, called Dead By Sunrise, and we were really far into the record. And then, you know, Linkin Park got together and we all decided that we wanted to make a record and start as soon as possible. So Linkin Park takes the lead, you know what I mean? So I stopped working on the record and I'll be finishing it up while we're touring over these next couple of years, and it'll be ready to go out.”

The NY Times
reviews Minutes to Midnight.
It takes talent to yell at the top of your lungs like Chester Bennington. He does that raspy thing. It’s amazing he does that night after night on tour and doesn’t lose his voice. On “Minutes to Midnight” (Warner Brothers) they mix hip-hop with rock without sacrificing the integrity of either. The rock sounds like rock, and the hip-hop sounds like hip-hop. It’s a guy rapping over an electric guitar, and it’s beautiful. A bunch of groups have tried the rock-hip-hop thing, and they don’t sound natural. It doesn’t sound like Linkin Park sat around and said, “Hey let’s be a rock group with a rapper.” Their music doesn’t sound contrived. They tend to tackle serious issues. Their lyrics make you think. There’s nothing I hate more than a stupid song, or a song that makes you stupider.

‘What I’ve done’ reviewed and analyzed from religious point of view by the Christian post.
What I've Done, Linkin Park's new lead single from their Minutes to Midnight album, recently hit the Number 1 slot on Billboard’s Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. What I've Done is a thought-provoking, reflective music video, drawing attention to a wide range of social issues that we’ll be confronting for decades to come. The music video dramatizes issues ranging from war and terrorism to famine and pollution. Add in the clips of racism, addiction, obesity and environmental concerns, and you have a catalogue of many of the key areas in which society has 'missed the mark' and failed to do the right thing. Linkin Park’s latest album Minutes to Midnight has been reviewed by Detroit Metro Times.
In 1982, Rolling Stone devoted a cover story to the popular emergence of faceless bands such as REO Speedwagon, Journey, Styx and Foreigner. The piece implied that the sales dominance of bands with no perceptible charisma was a signal that rock was in seriously bad health. A full generation later, Linkin Park wields its facelessness like a knight's armor. The group's utter lack of personality has worked to its benefit, creating the perception that it's beyond glamour and celebrity. To Linkin Park fans, the band represents undiluted musical substance. Julien-K’s official website recently posted a
photo, seems Julien-K has unintentionally unleashed the official lists of the tracks from Chester’s upcoming solo album, to be released under the name ‘Dead by sunrise’. Previously named 'Snow White Tan', will feature all the members of Julien-K, where Chester will be the lead singer. This project has been strongly yearned for and waited but rumors tell that it might be postponed till sometime in 2008.
This story has not been confirmed by either Julien-K or Chester. ‘Morning after’ and ‘let down’ were performed in 2005 just once for MTV ReAct Now: Music for Relief concert and are Chester’s known solo tracks, which are to be featured in the album. The track ‘Morning after’ has been listed twice, which leads to the assumption of having two versions for this song, one the original and one remixed by Julien-K. The latter was released early last year in CDs and also was featured on the official Underworld: Evolution soundtrack.
Following is the list of tracks assumed to be included in it, where few tracks name might not be the final song names or working titles.

Linkin Park’s new album Minutes to Midnight is making waves in the UK top 40 Rock Albums charts. Previously, their two studio albums were able to leave a mark in the top 10 category. Those two albums were Meteora and Hybrid Theory, chasing # 4 slot and # 7 slot in the charts, respectively.
Minutes to Midnight ruling the charts is pretty impressive taking into the account the facts that previously, Linkin Park didn’t have this kinda success in UK as compared to other countries.
